Module 2 | Stage 4: From Planning to Action | Moving on to the next step

You are ready to move on to Module 3, Program Design, if:

  • You have a strategic plan that has been circulated to and endorsed by appropriate stakeholders
  • You have tested the plan's assumptions with partners
  • Your strategic plan includes: selected target audiences and/or settings, approaches to reach your objectives, an evaluation and monitoring plan, and a plan for mobilizing additional needed resources
  • Your plan is acceptable, technically sound, ethically sound, and feasible
  • You have secured funding and resources to support your strategies
  • You are ready to design your program.

The next Module, Module 3: Program Design, answers the question: Which interventions best address our key objectives and goal?
