Social & Scientific Systems, Inc., through its Global Health and Development Strategies Division, provided technical assistance and services to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) under The Synergy Project to design, evaluate, and coordinate HIV/AIDS programs and identify and disseminate lessons learned from these programs. The Synergy Project ended February 28, 2006.
About Global Health and Development Strategies Division
Global Health and Development Strategies (GHDS) provides technical and advisory services to public health programs in more than 60 countries. GHDS supports solid planning and evidence-based decision-making in the following technical areas:

USAID, World Bank, Peace Corps, Corporation for National and
Community Service, U.S. Department of Labor, U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development, General Services Administration,
and Counterpart Foundation.
